Education and empowerment have the power to strengthen and enable an entire generation – this is the belief of Future. Empowerment. Africa e.V.. We are committed to empowering young people in Kenya, enabling them to develop and implement their own solutions to the challenges of their communities.
In doing so, we not only break down educational barriers but also challenge outdated narratives about Africa – because a sustainable future can only begin with a new perspective. Our mission is not only to create opportunities but to provide young people with the tools they need to actively shape the future.
Education is the key – and with it, we open doors for a new generation of Change Makers.
Our Programmes
Three Programs - One Vision: "Education for Pioneers: Enabling a Generation of Change Makers."
Our programs focus on the great challenges in Kenya and international cooperation. These include outdated stereotypes about the African continent, above-average youth unemployment, and limited future prospects for young people from economically disadvantaged backgrounds in Kenya.
We offer a solution through our programs, rethinking the work of an NGO and placing empowerment and the Sustainable Development Goals at the heart of our mission.
Studying and access to the labor market should not be a privilege, especially when youth unemployment in Kenya is around 40%. We empower students who are fully committed to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals and creating their own sustainable solutions.
We not only cover tuition fees through scholarships but also provide holistic support with individual training and mentoring offerings. Our graduates then become role models and mentors, actively engaging in our alumni network for the long term.
The youngest must have the same opportunities, regardless of their economic background. We operate a community center in the Kibagare slum in Nairobi, providing children with a fair chance for a better future through care, education, and the provision of school sponsorships.

African voices are essential for a diverse society, the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals, and the reduction of racism. We are changing the narrative about Africa through public relations and awareness, aiming to showcase the diversity, successes, and positive developments of the continent, while shifting perceptions in the minds of people in Germany.
We measure ourselves by our impact, as our holistic and sustainable approach contributes to solving real-world problems.
